| Answer : Dear Jomon, Yes you are allowed to extend your Tier 1 general visa. But you will have to again qualify for an extension under the new point based system and an application for extesion can ideally be lodged one month before the expiry of your current leave . According to the latest immigration rules you will be qualified for applying PR once you complete your 5 years of residence periode in the UK. Regards, Sajeev Kooran |
