| Question: Respected SIR, I am a General Nurse wants to apply for the Tier 2 visa with NHS soon. I have diploma in Nursing and I have done IELTS in 2006. Currently I am on Maternity leave with SMP of £480 per month. I have my son with me on depedant visa. Kindly advice me on two things please, -Do I need to show minimum account balance? | Answer : Thank you for your enquiry, Yes , you need to show £800.00 for you and £539.00 for each dependants as the maintenance funds. Alternatively if your employer is A rated, you can produce a letter from your employer to cover the same. You may have to produce a valid IELTS but its again depends on the situation.
