| Question: I am now on student visa(i am new comer in the UK),my course will be completed on december.(my visa will be expired on march/2010).I wish to change my visa as work permit to work fulltime in the UK,So which Visa is suitable and better for me(which gets easier from home office),and how can i work after december to march in a firm ? . expecting suitale response from you, Thanks, Shamseer |
| Answer : Dear Shamsheer, Thank you for your e-mail. Thank you for your e-mail. As per the new point based system, the student visas are referred as Tier 5 visas and one can switch from student category to a work category. Depending on your qualification and experience you can either try for a Tier 1 general (old HSMP) or the Tier 2 general (work permit). You can still work after the completion of your course as long as you have a valid leave to remain. Regards, Sajeev Kooran |
